when the competition in the new energy vehicle industry officially enters the second half of "intelligentization" from the first half of "electrification", intelligent driving has undoubtedly become the core battlefield for major car companies to compete, a key yardstick to measure the core competitiveness of brands, and an important factor determining users' car purchase decisions, in this war without gunpowder smoke, almost all brands are sprinting at full speed, trying to seize the commanding height of the intelligent driving track through technology stacking, parameter comparison and concept hype, however, when the industry collectively falls into the involution cycle of "stacking the number of lidars, comparing chip computing power, and shouting high-level slogans", the so-called "high-level intelligent driving" has gradually deviated from the essence of travel, making many users fall into the awkward situation of "being omnipotent in publicity but daring not to use it more in reality" - either the coverage scenario is limited, and it can only be used on specific roads in a few first-tier cities, and it is useless outside the limited area; or the operation logic is complex, and the layered settings make users flinch, and the extremely high learning cost makes the intelligent driving function become a "decorative item"; or the acceleration, deceleration and lane change logic is abrupt and rigid, without humanized consideration, making people dizzy when sitting and flustered when driving, even if the intelligent driving function is turned on, users need to keep their nerves tight at all times and cannot really relax,
this chaos of "disconnection between parameters and experience" not only makes users have a crisis of trust in intelligent driving, but also makes the entire intelligent driving track fall into the dilemma of "pseudo-innovation" - many brands invest a lot of energy in parameter stacking and concept hype, but ignore the core significance of intelligent driving: it is not for showing off skills, not for comparing parameters, but for bringing users a more relaxed, safe and pleasant travel experience, turning driving from a "burden" into a "pleasure", and making every trip more secure and convenient, in such an industry background, zeekr did not blindly follow the involution, but always maintained a clear cognition, its launched qianli haohan intelligent driving, from the beginning of research and development, jumped out of the misunderstanding of "parameter-only theory", abandoned the wrong orientation of "parameter for parameter's sake", and always adhered to the core concept of "safety as the core, experience as the king", deeply bound cutting-edge technology with users' real travel needs, transformed the seemingly cold technology into the daily experience that users "dare to use, love to use and often use", and truly turned intelligent driving from a "marketing gimmick" into a "travel rigid demand", opening up a new pragmatic, efficient and user-oriented development path for the intelligent driving industry trapped in involution,
to truly understand the core competitiveness of zeekr qianli haohan intelligent driving, we must first understand zeekr's underlying cognition of intelligent driving - different from many brands that equate intelligent driving with the trick of "taking hands off and feet off", and define "high-level" as "stacking of parameters", zeekr always believes that the essence of intelligent driving is to create a travel partner that "can provide a bottom line, is reliable and easy to use", which stands up when users need it and builds a solid defense line when users relax, safety is the first principle engraved in the bones of zeekr intelligent driving, and the starting point and foothold of all technological research and development and functional design, to achieve this goal, zeekr has invested a lot of research and development resources to build a fully self-developed intelligent driving system, from the hardware bottom layer to the algorithm logic, from functional design to scene adaptation, every link is carried out around the word "safety", building a comprehensive and all-round safety guarantee system, so that users can feel a steady sense of safety every time they turn on intelligent driving,
this fully self-developed intelligent driving system's most prominent advantage is that it has built an extreme redundant safety system from the hardware bottom layer, completely breaking the potential safety hazard of "single hardware dependence", and providing users with double or even multiple safety guarantees, zeekr deeply understands that hardware is the foundation of intelligent driving, only when the hardware is solid enough and redundant enough can it provide a reliable guarantee for the subsequent algorithm operation and function realization, and can achieve safe degradation in case of emergencies, avoiding safety risks caused by single hardware failure, therefore, the intelligent driving hardware equipped in all main models of zeekr adopts the top configuration in the industry, forming a comprehensive and all-round 360-degree perception matrix, allowing the vehicle to accurately perceive every environmental change around it like a human, predict risks in advance, and make safe decisions,
specifically, the hardware perception matrix of zeekr qianli haohan intelligent driving is composed of various sensors such as high-resolution lidar, 8-megapixel high-definition camera, millimeter-wave radar and ultrasonic radar, each sensor performs its own duties and complements each other, forming a multi-modal fusion perception scheme of "vision + laser + millimeter-wave", ensuring accurate perception in any scenario, among them, the high-resolution lidar, as the core of the perception system, has the advantages of long detection distance, high precision and strong anti-interference ability, it can accurately identify various targets such as vehicles, pedestrians, non-motor vehicles and obstacles, even in low visibility scenarios such as night, rainy days and foggy days, it can maintain stable detection ability with a detection distance of up to 300 meters, allowing the vehicle to predict distant risks in advance and reserve sufficient time for safe decision-making, according to test data, in heavy rain with 50-meter visibility, the lidar equipped by zeekr can still maintain an 85% obstacle recognition rate, while the recognition rate of the pure vision scheme is only 50%, this advantage is particularly obvious in extreme weather, which can effectively avoid safety accidents caused by insufficient visibility,
in addition to the high-resolution lidar, the 8-megapixel high-definition camera also plays a crucial role, zeekr qianli haohan intelligent driving is equipped with multiple 8-megapixel high-definition cameras, distributed around the vehicle, achieving 360-degree dead-angle-free visual coverage, it can accurately capture detailed information such as road markings, traffic lights and traffic signs, even small no-entry signs and speed bumps can be accurately identified, providing reliable support for the vehicle's path planning, lane keeping and traffic rule recognition, compared with ordinary cameras, the 8-megapixel high-definition camera has higher imaging precision and can capture more details, in complex road conditions, it can more accurately identify pedestrians' gestures, non-motor vehicles' driving trajectories, and even traffic police's gestures, further improving the scene adaptation ability of the intelligent driving system,
the millimeter-wave radar is mainly responsible for short-range perception and anti-interference perception, making up for the perception shortcomings of lidar and cameras in severe weather, the millimeter-wave radar has strong penetration ability, can penetrate severe weather such as rain, fog and snow, and accurately perceive short-range targets around the vehicle, especially in night or low visibility scenarios, it can effectively identify short-range pedestrians, non-motor vehicles and obstacles, avoiding safety accidents caused by short-range collisions, at the same time, the response speed of the millimeter-wave radar is extremely fast, which can capture the position, speed and movement trajectory of the target within milliseconds, providing support for the rapid decision-making of the intelligent driving system, the number of millimeter-wave radars equipped in zeekr qianli haohan intelligent driving varies according to models, among which high-end models are equipped with 5 millimeter-wave radars, which can achieve accurate monitoring of the side and rear blind areas, further improving the safety when changing lanes and overtaking,
in addition to the complete perception hardware, zeekr qianli haohan intelligent driving is also equipped with redundant backup of high computing power chips, which is another core support of its redundant safety system, in the current intelligent driving industry, chip computing power has become the focus of many brands' hype, many brands blindly pursue high computing power parameters, but ignore the redundant backup of chips, once a single chip fails, the entire intelligent driving system will be paralyzed, bringing great safety risks to users, from the perspective of safety, zeekr has equipped the intelligent driving system with dual-chip redundant backup, mainstream models are equipped with dual nvidia drive orin-x chips with a computing power of 508 tops, while high-end models are equipped with dual nvidia drive thor-u chips with a computing power of up to 1400 tops, this dual-chip redundant design means that even if one of the chips fails, the other chip can immediately take over the operation of the intelligent driving system, achieve safe degradation, ensure that the vehicle can drive stably, and avoid safety accidents caused by chip failure,
this dual redundant safety system of "perception hardware redundancy + chip redundancy" makes the safety performance of zeekr qianli haohan intelligent driving reach the top level in the industry, completely solving the core concern of users "fear of failure and fear of out of control", for example, during high-speed driving, if the vehicle's lidar suddenly fails, the intelligent driving systems of many brands will exit immediately, catching users off guard, however, zeekr qianli haohan intelligent driving will immediately start the redundancy mechanism, relying on the perception system composed of high-definition cameras and millimeter-wave radars to continue to maintain the normal operation of the intelligent driving function, and at the same time remind users "lidar failure, intelligent driving system has been downgraded, please drive carefully", allowing users to have sufficient time to take over the vehicle and avoid dangers caused by sudden system exit, this comprehensive safety guarantee is the most intuitive embodiment of zeekr's "safety as the core" concept,
if hardware is the "body" of zeekr qianli haohan intelligent driving, then the algorithm is its "brain", and the safety concept runs through every detail of algorithm research and development, zeekr deeply understands that no matter how powerful the hardware is, it cannot exert its true strength without excellent algorithm support, the core of the algorithm is not how high the "pass rate" is, not how amazing the "trick" is, but how reliable the "safety decision" is, different from many brands that give priority to pursuing "pass rate", in order to make the intelligent driving function perform well in test scenarios, they even sacrifice safety redundancy, leading to frequent mistakes in actual complex road conditions, zeekr's intelligent driving algorithm always puts "safety decision" in the first place, every decision and every action takes "safety" as the primary premise, taking into account practicality and humanization, making the performance of the intelligent driving system more in line with the driving habits of domestic users and more adaptable to the complex domestic traffic conditions,
the domestic traffic conditions are far more complex than those abroad - urban roads are congested, and phenomena such as lane cutting and sudden appearance of pedestrians/vehicles are frequent; there are a large number of non-motor vehicles, and pedestrians and electric vehicles crossing the road are common; rural roads are narrow and tortuous, without clear lane markings, and even have dirt roads without lane markings; there are also complex scenarios such as construction sections, tunnels and bridges, which put forward extremely high requirements for the scene adaptation ability and safety decision-making ability of the intelligent driving algorithm, zeekr's intelligent driving algorithm is trained based on the intelligent driving mileage of 8,5 million L2+ vehicles in china, a total of more than 10 billion kilometers of real data, and 25 million high-quality video clips, all these data are from china - one of the markets with the most complex road conditions in the world, making the AI model more practical in dealing with emergencies, able to accurately respond to various complex domestic road conditions, and make safe decisions that are in line with users' driving habits,
in the face of lane cutting, the most common scenario on domestic urban roads, the algorithm of zeekr qianli haohan intelligent driving performs particularly well, the intelligent driving systems of many brands either react too slowly to lane cutting, only responding after the other party has completed the lane cutting, leading to the risk of rear-end collision; or react too aggressively, suddenly braking sharply, making the passengers in the car feel uncomfortable, and even causing rear-end collision by the vehicles behind, zeekr's intelligent driving algorithm can predict the intention of the lane-cutting vehicle in advance - by analyzing the speed, steering angle, distance and other data of the lane-cutting vehicle, it can judge in advance whether the other party has the tendency to cut lanes, and then make a soft response: if the lane-cutting vehicle is far away and slow, the system will decelerate appropriately and avoid smoothly to avoid sudden braking; if the lane-cutting vehicle is close and the situation is urgent, the system will make a quick avoidance action on the premise of ensuring safety, and remind the user to pay attention, which not only ensures driving safety, but also takes into account riding comfort, this logic of "predictive avoidance" is completely in line with the driving habits of domestic experienced drivers, allowing users to feel a "safe and smooth" experience when turning on intelligent driving,
sudden appearance of pedestrians/vehicles (ghost probe) is one of the most dangerous scenarios in domestic traffic conditions, especially near intersections, community gates and bus stops, pedestrians or non-motor vehicles suddenly rush out, which is likely to lead to traffic accidents, this is also one of the important reasons why many users dare not use the intelligent driving system, to address this pain point, zeekr's intelligent driving algorithm has been specially optimized, through multi-sensor fusion perception, it can accurately capture the dynamics of pedestrians and non-motor vehicles in high-risk areas such as intersections and community gates, even "ghost probes" blocked by vehicles and buildings can be predicted in advance, and the vehicle can decelerate or even stop in time to avoid accidents, according to test data, zeekr qianli haohan intelligent driving can accurately identify and properly respond to high-frequency dangerous scenarios such as 50% offset rate child ghost probes and electric vehicles crossing blind areas at intersections, with a night AEB braking success rate of up to 95%, far exceeding the industry average,
in addition to lane cutting and ghost probes, non-motor vehicles crossing the road is also a major feature of complex domestic road conditions, in many cities, electric vehicles and bicycles crossing the road and reversing are common, bringing great hidden dangers to driving safety, zeekr's intelligent driving algorithm can accurately identify the driving trajectory of non-motor vehicles, judge whether they have the intention to cross the road, and make reasonable decisions according to the speed and distance of non-motor vehicles: if the non-motor vehicle is far away, the system will maintain a normal speed and pay close attention to its dynamics; if the non-motor vehicle is close, the system will decelerate appropriately, reserve sufficient avoidance space, and avoid collision with non-motor vehicles, at the same time, the system can also identify the retrograde behavior of non-motor vehicles and make avoidance preparations in advance to ensure driving safety,
zeekr's intelligent driving algorithm can not only cope with complex road conditions in urban roads, but also maintain stable perception and decision-making ability in complex low-visibility scenarios such as night, rainy days and tunnels, truly achieving "reliable in all scenarios and safe for users throughout the journey", when driving at night, the light is dark and the line of sight is blocked, many intelligent driving systems will have problems such as reduced perception accuracy and slow decision-making, however, through the cooperative work of high-resolution lidar and high-definition cameras, zeekr qianli haohan intelligent driving can accurately identify targets such as pedestrians, non-motor vehicles and obstacles at night, and can maintain stable intelligent driving performance even on rural roads without street lights; when driving in rainy days, rainwater will affect the imaging effect of cameras, and the anti-interference ability of lidar becomes particularly important, zeekr's lidar can penetrate rainwater to maintain accurate detection ability, and the algorithm will adjust the acceleration and deceleration logic according to the wet road surface in rainy days to avoid brake skidding and ensure driving safety; when driving in tunnels, sudden light changes and poor air circulation are likely to cause driver visual fatigue, zeekr's intelligent driving system can quickly adapt to the light changes in the tunnel, accurately identify the lane markings and traffic signs in the tunnel, maintain a stable lane keeping and following distance, allowing users to safely turn on intelligent driving in the tunnel,
what's more worth mentioning is that zeekr's intelligent driving algorithm always adheres to the "humanized" design concept, avoiding the "robot-like" rigid operation of many brands' intelligent driving systems, making the intelligent driving experience more in line with human driving habits, the acceleration, deceleration and lane change logic of many brands' intelligent driving systems are too mechanical, either accelerating too hard, decelerating too sharply, or changing lanes abruptly without prediction, making users and passengers feel uncomfortable and even carsick, through a large number of user driving data training, zeekr's intelligent driving algorithm simulates the driving habits of experienced human drivers, with smooth and gentle acceleration and deceleration, decisive and smooth lane changes, predicting the dynamics of surrounding vehicles in advance, before changing lanes, it will adjust the speed in advance to keep a safe distance from surrounding vehicles, avoiding the danger caused by sudden lane changes, and making the riding experience more comfortable, for example, when driving at high speed, the system will smoothly adjust the following distance according to the speed of the vehicle in front, avoiding the situation of "stepping on the accelerator and then the brake"; when changing lanes, the system will observe the dynamics of the vehicles behind and on the side in advance, and change lanes smoothly after confirming safety, the whole process is smooth and natural, just like an experienced driver driving,
in terms of algorithm iteration and upgrading, zeekr adopts a "driven" iteration model, constantly optimizing the algorithm logic and improving the performance of the intelligent driving system through a large amount of data generated during users' actual driving, zeekr's intelligent driving system can collect users' driving data in real time, including driving habits, road condition feedback, function usage, etc,, and then through cloud big data analysis, find out the deficiencies in the algorithm and carry out targeted optimization, for example, users in a certain area feedback that the intelligent driving system is not accurate enough in identifying local special traffic signs, zeekr's R&D team will collect traffic sign data in that area, optimize the algorithm, and improve the accuracy of sign recognition; if users feedback that the following distance of the intelligent driving system is too conservative, leading to frequent lane cutting, the R&D team will optimize the following logic, adjust the following distance, and take into account safety and efficiency, this closed-loop iteration model of "user feedback - data collection - algorithm optimization - OTA upgrade" makes zeekr's intelligent driving algorithm more and more in line with users' real needs and more and more adaptable to complex domestic traffic conditions,
if safety is the "bottom line" of zeekr qianli haohan intelligent driving, then transforming technical advantages into user-perceivable experience is the "core competitiveness" of zeekr intelligent driving, at a time when the intelligent driving industry is generally trapped in "parameter stacking", zeekr always adheres to the concept of "experience as the king", does not blindly pursue the ultimate parameters, but focuses on allowing users to truly feel the convenience and comfort brought by intelligent driving, making the intelligent driving function from "usable" to "easy to use", and from "occasionally used" to "used every day", the national full push of mapless urban NZP is the most intuitive embodiment of zeekr transforming technical advantages into user experience, and also an important measure for zeekr to break industry barriers and reconstruct intelligent driving experience,
currently, the urban intelligent driving functions of many brands rely on the support of high-precision maps, the drawing and updating of high-precision maps are not only costly, but also have a long cycle, leading to the urban intelligent driving of many brands can only be opened on the core main roads of a few first-tier cities, and cannot cover the roads of second and third-tier cities, counties and towns, and even cannot be used on the secondary roads and branch roads of first-tier cities, this "geographical restriction" greatly reduces the practicality of the urban intelligent driving function, many users spend a high price to buy the intelligent driving function, but can only use it in very few scenarios, leading to the intelligent driving function becoming a "chicken rib" and unable to truly meet the daily travel needs of users,
zeekr, however, jumped out of the misunderstanding of "high-precision map dependence" and created the mapless urban NZP function with the advantage of fully self-developed algorithms, achieving a breakthrough of "getting rid of high-precision maps and being usable in all regions", zeekr's mapless urban NZP adopts end-to-end large model technology, consisting of self-developed scene cognition large model (SCM) and interactive planning and control large model (IPM), the scene cognition large model (SCM) can restore the three-dimensional world based on perception data, understand more than 1000 traffic scenarios, and the cognition accuracy is improved by more than 120%; the interactive planning and control large model (IPM) integrates prediction, decision-making and planning, which can maximize the restoration of human drivers' driving methods, with prediction accuracy improved by 21% and collision risk reduced by more than 28%, this technical architecture allows the intelligent driving system to real-time identify road, traffic signs, vehicles, pedestrians and other environmental information through multi-sensor fusion perception, independently plan the driving path, without relying on the pre-drawing of high-precision maps, completely breaking the geographical restrictions,
different from the "gradual city opening and batch push" mode of many brands, zeekr's mapless urban NZP adopts a "one-step" push mode, achieving national full push at the end of 2024, it only took 10 months to complete the whole process from R&D to public beta to full push, while the industry generally takes 3 years, showing zeekr's strong technical strength, according to official data, the first version of zeekr's mapless urban NZP full push covers 100% of cities in the country, including 38,000 towns, more than 700,000 administrative villages and more than 2,6 million natural villages, it is applicable to 5-level roads such as provincial roads, township roads, lanes, village roads and even dirt roads without lane markings, truly realizing the mapless intelligent driving experience of "can be driven all over the country, as long as there is a road",
this full-region covered mapless intelligent driving completely breaks the "use threshold" of intelligent driving functions, allowing users in different regions and different travel scenarios to enjoy the convenience brought by intelligent driving, for users in first-tier cities, whether it is congested commuting on core main roads or daily travel on secondary roads and branch roads, they can turn on mapless urban NZP, allowing the intelligent driving system to share the driving pressure for themselves; for users in second and third-tier cities, they can ;wk.ny8ml.cngov@qq.com;ao.ny8ml.cngov@qq.com;un.ny8ml.cngov@qq.com;pu.ny8ml.cngov@qq.com;or.ny8ml.cngov@qq.com;yr.ny8ml.cngov@qq.com;kd.ny8ml.cngov@qq.com;is.ny8ml.cngov@qq.com;ch.ny8ml.cngov@qq.com;sk.ny8ml.cngov@qq.com;zj.ny8ml.cngov@qq.com;he.ny8ml.cngov@qq.com;em.ny8ml.cngov@qq.com;ln.ny8ml.cngov@qq.com;ax.ny8ml.cngov@qq.com
use the intelligent driving function on every road in the city without waiting for the update of high-precision maps, completely solving the pain point of "unusable intelligent driving functions"; for users who often go back to their hometowns, even the narrow paths in counties and towns, or even rural dirt roads without lane markings, mapless urban NZP can accurately identify road conditions and drive smoothly, making the journey back to hometown more relaxed and safe,
in addition to full-region coverage, the experience of zeekr's mapless urban NZP can be called an industry benchmark, truly achieving "ready to use upon delivery", avoiding the perfunctoriness of many brands of "having first and then optimizing", although the mapless intelligent driving of many brands claims to have achieved full push, there are still many imperfections in functions, such as low pass rate at complex intersections, rigid following logic, abrupt avoidance actions, etc,, which can only reach the "usable" level and cannot make users really use it at ease, zeekr's mapless urban NZP, in the first version of full push, has achieved a very high degree of maturity, and its functional integrity and experience fluency are far beyond the industry average,
